Bison by artist Mark Preston - Tlingit

Our plaques are the perfect way to finish and display our indigenous art. They come in two sizes, 8x10” and 12x18”, are 17mm thick and have a black edge. The artist biography is featured on the back. Both sizes can be mounted on the wall and the 8x10” size also comes with a tabletop display rod.

Cultural Background: Tlingit, Yukon Territory

Mark Preston (Tenna‘Tsa‘Teh) was born in Dawson City, Yukon. He is of Tlingit and Irish descent and travels extensively throughout British Columbia and the Yukon to market his work.
Mark has studied and worked in various mediums including paper, cloth, wood, metals, stone and most recently, he has started working on glass. Mark has also studied silver carving with well known master jeweler and carver, Gitksan artist Phil Janzé, while attending K’san in Hazelton.
