The Boho Star Circle stencil by Gwen Lafleur was inspired by woodblock designs that she found while learning how to block print during a visit to India. This stencil was designed like a modified mandala with a star in the center in the style of a woodblock. Use it as a base for layering with dimensional materials, create a focal point in your artwork, or cut out the center and use it as a frame-like Gwen did with her "Ornery Ostrich" mixed media piece. It works beautifully with molding or texture paste, or you can repeat and overlap it in your art journal to create a background or as a textural element.
