The Art Deco Sun Medallion Repeating Corner stencil by Gwen Lafleur was inspired by browsing through a book of old Art Deco motifs. Gwen loved the idea of a very geometric corner design that also looked a bit like a rising sun. Originally this was a hand-carved stamp that couldn't help but become a stencil!
This design repeats by making a quarter turn and lining up the design and stenciling again. When you're done, you have a medallion that's just under 8x8! You can also make a half medallion or use it as a corner on an art journal page, on a mixed media panel, and so much more!
